Group datasets

As the name suggests, these are datasets that a group of users can access.

The prefix for these datasets are the first 2 letters of the TSO userid.

e.g. A userid beginning with AA*, translate to a dataset prefix of "A.A." and a userid beginning with BB* to "B.B.".

There are 2 main suffixes to these datasets:

So you can put CLIST's and REXX exec's in these datasets, so that users with the same userid prefix can run them.

You can also create a member in these datasets with the same name as your userid, in this member any CLIST or REXX commands (depending on which dataset you put it in) you put in there, are executed whenever you log onto TSO.
