Comparing PDS libraries

SuperC can only compare indervidual datasets or members. The advanced version, SuperCE, can compare the contents of whole PDS's at a time, useful for tracking JCL or COBOL copybook changes.

Compile date

Rather than trying to track down the compile date of a program by looking at the object code, Fileaid can display it along with other information about the program in the 'Utilities' > 'Library' option.

Copying records with trailing spaces

If you have a data file with trailing spaces at the end of each record. A normal copy via ISPF will remove them.

To copy the data correctly use JCL or FileAid.
